Art

The art curriculum at St. Pat's was developed to incorporate basic artistic, art history, and mutli-cultural concepts seen through artist productions. The art room is a relaxed environment where students are encouraged to produce the best product they can with the abilities they were given.  Quality projects are much more important than the quanity of projects.  Our goal is for our students to leave St. Pat's with a good understanding of art concepts and art history and a general appreciation for the art all around them.

The first grade art curriculum is build upon the principles of design the students learned in Kindergarten, as well as new and more complex art concepts.
