Funeral Dinner Support
Funeral dinners are provided by three groups of volunteers who serve the parish using their time and talents to serve and /or provide food following a funeral mass or memorial or prayer service. Ham, scalloped potatoes, a variety of salads and bars, dinner rolls and beverages are usually served. Volunteers are asked for donations of salads and dessert bars. Approximately 25 to 30 dinners are served per year. Since the groups rotate, volunteers are needed for every 3rd dinner served. Group leaders try not to ask the same people every time their group serves. Dinners can also be catered. Volunteers are then needed to serve and clean up.
