Call
to Order: Sam Cari called the meeting to order at 7:05 pm.

Minutes:
The minutes from the November, meeting were
approved as presented
Stewardship:
Howard Cameron
reported that his committee received time and talent cards from over 400
households. Phyllis Koss
was entering the information from the cards into to a parish data base.
Reg Klubeck and Bev. Radermacher were also assisting with creating a data base
of information from the cards. Father John thanked Howard and all the
members of the Stewardship committee for their work.
Parish
Administrator: Mary Seyer informed the council that the
sub-committee was moving forward it the creation of a job description and an
advertisement for the position. The committee hoped to have interviews for the
position scheduled in March.
State
of the Parish Update: Sam Cari reported that he had spoken with the
Bishop regarding publishing the four commitments in the Catholic Herald.
The Bishop stated that he was having hip surgery and would be unable to move
forward on this matter until he had recovered from his surgery. Sam
recommended that the council maintain a dialogue with the Bishop with monthly
updates at the pastoral council meetings. Claire
Zajac volunteered to be part of a new standing committee
which would report to the council. The purpose of the committee would be to maintain
a dialogue with the Bishop and the Diocese and monitor the progress of the
Diocese in fulfilling the mandate of the four commitments. The council
agreed to vote on the creation of the new standing committee at the February
meeting. Sam Cari asked the council secretary to make copies of the
approved minutes available with the bulletins at the back of church. The
council agreed to continue the discussion of the goals of vision 2007 at the
March meeting.
Faith
Enrichment: Linda Radtke chairperson of the Faith Enrichment committee
reported that the Faith Enrichment committee formally known as the
Evangelization committee was offering many different programs for the people of
the parish to learn about and deepen their Catholic faith. These programs
include many different forms of Bible study. The committee is also
looking at ways to bring back the Theology on Tap program and to schedule a
parish mission in the next year. Father John thanked Linda for her report and
for the fine work of the Faith Enrichment committee.
