To help families live out the joy of Christ, the Knights of Columbus Supreme Chaplain has composed a prayer through which families can come together to consecrate themselves under the protection of the Holy Family. In this prayer, we ask for the intercession of the perfect son Jesus Christ, Mary the perfect mother and Joseph who is a model for every father.
Prayer cards will be available the weekend of December 20/21 from KC members or at the bulletin stands. Families are encouraged to pray this together each day during the week. Bonus activity: Families are encouraged to fast during the week from something that is normally consumed or an activity that is regularly done and to go to confession prior to our consecration prayer the next weekend (December 27/28). We will then conclude by praying this consecration prayer together as a Parish family as we celebrate the Feast of the Holy Family the weekend of December 27/28.
