Please join Faith in Action for a coffee talk following the 8:30 AM Mass on October 27 in the St. Cecilia Room. We welcome Heidi and Jerry Giebel, fellow parishioners, for a discussion on St. Francis and his call to care for all creation. As a philosopher who teaches a class on environmental ethics, Heidi loves thinking about the big picture of care for creation and ethical principals of supporting it. As a “retired” environmental engineer, Jerry focuses on the practical, day-to-day aspects of creation care. As lay Franciscans, both take their inspiration from St. Francis of Assisi’s love of God, his fellow human beings, and all of God’s creatures.
