Word of God Sunday - Bring your Bibles
The Third Sunday in Ordinary Time, celebrated on January 25/26, has been set aside as the Word of God Sunday. To celebrate the day, we are asking parishioners to bring a study Bible(s) to Mass so all can participate in an exercise during the Homily that demonstrates the beauty and depth of Scripture. We will be using the New American Bible Revised Edition (NABRE). The bible you bring should include footnotes and cross-references.
We will be focusing on the Gospel reading Luke 1:1-4,4:14-21.
