High School Discipleship Weekend

April 5 – 7 | Crescent Lake, Rhinelander | leave 3:45 (Friday) & return 5:30 PM (Sunday)

High School Discipleship Weekend is designed to immerse young disciples in these three pillars of the life of discipleship. All of the teens of the diocese that are ready to ‘drop their nets’ and follow the Lord in a more intentional way are invited and encouraged to ‘come and see’. This year’s discipleship weekend will be centered on the specific call each one of us was given by God through our vocations. This will be an overnight retreat experience where the youth will learn what it takes to disciple their peers and each other as well as have an experience with Our Lord that will be monumental to their faith journey. This retreat is highly encouraged for those students who want to be leaders for Extreme Faith Camp.

For the April 5 – 7, the group will leave 3:45 (Friday) & return 5:30 PM (Sunday)

Totus Tuus Missionary
College Age Students

Summer 2024
Diocese of Superior

Serving as a Totus Tuus Missionary is the final step in our youth discipleship vision. Several priests and religious have come of this program as well as a lot of young people striving to live out holy marriages. Totus Tuus missionaries attest that this is the most transformative experience they have ever had – teaching them what it means to love, to be an authentic disciple, and a true witness to Christ.

Totus Tuus calls upon college students and seminarians from the Catholic Diocese of Superior and across the United States to carry this mission to every young person they encounter in the parishes. Students are hired for their energy, enthusiasm, love for the faith, commitment to spiritual growth, ability to work with a team, and desire to work with youth. Parish catechists are grouped into teams of four, each consisting of two men and two women, and are invited to a different parish every week for seven or eight weeks, where they conduct a week-long “parish mission”, teaching and inspiring the parish’s youth.
